At Euromere, we are proud to present our latest innovation in extrudable paste: EVOPASTE XT 4000 GT150 BL LD. Formulated with unsaturated polyester resin, this paste is specially designed for model making. Here is an overview of its features and benefits.
Technical Characteristics
- Static viscosity (P) : 3000 – 4000
- Freeze time (min) : 130 – 170 (200g – 2 % PMEC – 23°C)
- Density : 0,95 – 1,05
- Volatile content (%) : 25 ± 2
- 24-hour hardness (shore D) : 45 – 55
Advantages of the XT 4000 GT150 BL LD
- Low shrinkage: Reduce distortions and achieve more accurate models.
- Improved stability and thermal resistance: Ideal for applications requiring resistance to high temperatures.
- Ease of machining: Simplify your manufacturing processes with an easy-to-work dough.
For optimal results, the paste should be used at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C, with a humidity level below 80%. No dilution is necessary; simply catalyze the product with 1% to 2% PMEC 50. For optimal surface preparation:
- Polyurethane foam: Direct application.
- Wood, polystyrene: Apply a layer of suitable resin or spray a coat of IMEX 11W Polyurea.
Ensure that the surface of the support is free from pollution (dust, grease, etc.). Machining is recommended after a minimum of 15 hours.
Store the product in its original, closed packaging, away from sunlight, in a cool (~20°C) and preferably ventilated area. Under these conditions, the product’s properties are guaranteed to be preserved for 3 months from the production date.
Euromere’s XT 4000 GT150 BL LD extrudable paste is an innovative solution for model making, offering significant advantages in terms of shrinkage, thermal stability, and ease of machining. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
